ANON. Eustace Fitz-Richard (1826)
Contemporary Reviews
La Belle Assemblée, 3rd ser. 3 (Mar
1826): 129.
‘Eustace Fitz-Richard, a Tale of the Barons’ Wars,
by the Author of the Bandit Chief,’ in four volumes, is
a very spirited and respectable work of its class. The character
of Simon Montfort, Earl of Leicester, is well drawn and supported;
and some of the scenes are managed with great effect. Print | Close
